From the CD insert:   …consists of 24 original solo piano works, plus 13 bonus tracks where some of the pieces are reworked to fit situations requiring different tempos and durations.  The music has been designed for open classes and there is something for all ages and levels.  This collection contains a wide range of musical influences.  There are shades of Bach in my “BaroqueStyle” piece, hints of a “Twilight” movie soundtrack in “Vampires in the Woods” while “Mouse’s March” conjures up images of a theme park parade!  I hope it inspires you, both in the dance class …. and beyond!

A Note From the Composer

 ” Dancing Keys,” my first CD of original piano tailored to the dance class, was a compilation of pieces I had created over the previous 25 years while working as an accompanist.Following its release I moved to the country – B.C.’s Sunshine Coast – and experienced a creative catharsis that produced more than 50 new compositions over the next 3 years.  Consequently, I’ve decided to expand “Dancing Keys” into a series of CD recordings and issue this latest music across tow separate discs known simply as colume 2 & 3 of the line.“Dancing Keys 2,” the first release, consists of 24 original solo piano works, plus 13 bonus tracks where some of the pieces are reqorked to fit situations requiring different tempos and durations.  the music has been designed for open classes and there is something for all ages and levels.
