Classical Ballet Technique Class: Reimagined CDs Classical and Pop
Adventures in Pre-School Dance Series

Andrew Holdsworth has produced, arranged, engineered and played on dozens of albums for artists of many genres, from death metal bands (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death) to Irish folk singers (Mary Black, Finbar Furey), from pop artists (Primal Scream, Ben Hood) to classical ensembles and instrumentalists (The Orchestra of English National Ballet, Tony Woollard).

Outside of the recording studio, Andrew is a London-based ballet pianist. He played for his first class at the age of 11 and has worked with many inspired and inspiring ballet teachers over the years. With Jonathan Still, Andrew has produced all the music for the latest syllabuses for the Royal Academy of Dance, including the new Grades 1 to 5, and the Vocational Grades.

Reimagined for Ballet brings these two facets of Andrew’s background together to open up a new repertoire of music for use in the dance studio.

Also featuring on the Reimagined recordings are Tony Woollard (cello), Bryony Lang (soprano), Osbert Parsley (drums), and Jonathan Still (piano duet).
